The aim of this work is to embody a shift in consciousness and empower innate intelligence within the body.

Deepen in relationship with your inner child through gentle, curious, kinesthetic play and engaging in developmental patterns to integrate rhythms of opening and closing. Explore your connection between inner posture and outer gesture. Educate the entire body to more fully cooperate with breath. Sentient breath - inspiring and carrying us. Learn to embody your physical reflection more fully.

This work is not based in mechanical repetition, but facilitates change within the brain itself through series of simple, yet nuanced, movement exercises. The principles and skills can both be incorporated into existing practice and become tools for dynamic embodiment in daily life.

Lessons are carefully paired with music from eYen's extensive audio library to deepen the resonant field and to carry a sense of ease and expanded possibility during the exploration

Somatic eYe on the Root

Somatic eYe on the Root
with eYen Zak BSc. kin, cmt-se

June 1, 7:00-9:00 pm
415 Bellevue Ave @ Grand Ave. Apt 41, Oakland, Ca
Donation: $15 (sliding scale in effect - your presence is more important to me)

At our root is the pelvis - the foundation.
It mediates our relationship with gravity and the ground,
provides a basis for balance and posture,
contains our organs of sexuality and elimination,
and is integrally involved in the mechanics of breathing,

Many postural, lower back, and knee problems can be traced to a held or inefficiently organized pelvic floor. A dynamic, strong, and sensitive pelvic floor is essential for health, vitality, and self-expression. This workshop will provide you with tools to reconnect the easeful strength and dynamic support which are your birthright.

Deepen in awareness of the structure and function of your pelvis through experiential anatomy and biomechanics using experiments, exercises, and visualizations designed to reawaken the body's genius capacity for self-optimization.

Join eYen on an exploration into the beauty and sensations of the root of our Being.

Space is limited- Please RSVP
